Hi, I'm Ella, and welcome to my White Suffolk Cottage.

We bought our small cottage in the heart of the Suffolk countryside in 2024. I absolutly love our cottage, but when trying to furnish it to our taste, I really struggled. I wanted to fill my home with things that made me happy, and combined my love of the countryside with the joy that bold, beautiful, and colourful patterns bring me.

When looking for fabric to make myself some curtains, I fell in love with Indian Block Printed designs, and found myself quickly down a rabbit hole of the whole process and skill which went into these beautiful designs, and I had to have a go.

I liked the idea of combining the block printing process, with the countryside theme, and bold bright colours, and that is exactly how the White Suffolk Cottage was formed.

I currently only use one type of fabric, a Ramie Linen and Cotton Blend, along with a variety of beautiful trims to make our iconic designs. A lot of our pieces are limited edition because I try to purchase trims as remnants or second hand as this is how I find the most unique, quality pieces.
